About Celebration U.S.A.

Celebration U.S.A.'s purpose is to teach children the basic principles of American democracy, to invigorate patriotism, and to bring attention to the idea that the nation's schools are, as The Youth's Companion states in 1892, "the institution(s) closest to the people, most characteristic of the people and fullest of hope for the people."
"Let every American, every lover of Liberty...support the Constitution. Let it be taught in schools, in seminaries and in colleges. Let it be written in primers, in spelling books and in almanacs. Let it be preached from the pulpit, proclaimed in legislative halls, and enforced in courts of justice."

- Abraham Lincoln
